A402 is a pure austenitic stainless steel welding electrode of Cr26Ni21 with rutile coating. AC/DC both can be applied. The deposited metal has excellent oxidation resistance at high temperature of 900-1100℃ and excellent welding performance.
The product is applicable for welding the same type of heat-resistant stainless steel, chromium steel with high hardenability and dissimilar steel working at high temperature.
1. Before welding, the welding electrode must be baked at 300℃ for 1h.
2. Operating with DC power supply as much as possible, and the current should not be too large.
