A312 is a welding electrode made of Cr23Ni13Mo2 stainless steel with rutile coating. AC/DC both can be applied. The high Mo content enables its have better corrosion resistance, crack resistance and oxidation resistance than A302, and having good operating process performance.
The product is applicable for welding the same type of stainless steel container which is resistant to sulfuric acid medium (sulfur ammonia) corrosion, and can also be used for stainless steel lining, composite steel plate, dissimilar steel and so on.
1. The welding electrode should be baked at 300℃ for 1h before welding.
2. Operating with DC power supply as much as possible, and the current should not be too large.
