J507 is a low-hydrogen sodium coated carbon steel welding electrode, which can be welded in all positions by DCEP. It has excellent welding performance with stiff arc, low spatter level, effortless slag removal ability, optimal bead appearance, and deposited metal has excellent mechanical properties and crack resistance.


The product is applicable for welding carbon steel and low alloy steel structures (under pressure and dynamic load), such as 16Mn, 09Mn2Si, 09Mn2V and A, B, D and E grade steels for ships.

1. Before welding, the welding electrode should be baked at 350℃ for 1 hour for ready use.
2. Impurities such as rust, oil stain and moisture must be cleared off of the work piece before welding.
3. Operating with short arc and narrow gap when welding.
